After 60+ years of "dieting" I found Spark People and lost 50 lbs. in just over one year. For me, the key is tracking. I couldn't exercise 5 minutes when I started due to bad knee and hip problem, but little by little I overcame and now at age 77 I often complete 120 minutes of daily exercise! Yes, with the help of wonderful friends here, you CAN do it!!! Holler if I can be of any help!!!
