Explore the site and learn to use the tools. Ask questions, there's always someone here to help. Read blogs and "friend" some people you can relate to. Join teams that interest you and participate! You don't have to do it all at once; take your time and pick and choose. I'd recommend starting to track nutrition and fitness asap though. You've got to have a plan. It can all be fun, but it is work and takes commitment; just like anything worthwhile. Think of it as a gift to yourself. We are really blessed to have the resources we do in Lexington.
