You bet! SP has helped me lose 25 lbs since Sept 2011. I am still committed. It is a slow but oh so worthwhile journey. You need to just persevere and believe!!!!!!!!

You have made a great choice in coming here... I have only been here about a month and lost 6 pounds.... with this site I know emoticon . You have everything you need especially the support and encouragement.

I agree with BG... track your food, stick to the plan that sp put out for you. There a lots of free exercise videos that are great and some that you don't need any equipment for.

Create your sparkpage and blog.. it helps too. You have the tools now it is just up to you...

Hi Barcharts and welcome to Sparkle! I have been using this website for about a year now, and it has helped me to lose over 10 lbs. I am almost to the weight I want to be and it feels GREAT knowing I did it. I recommend keeping track of what you eat throughout the day and drinking plenty of water. Hi all! For the first time in my life I want to change my approach to food, diet and exercise... I would like this time to adopt a positive attitude towards my goal, if I fail one day, I will not give up and start next week...
