Hi - I joined Spark last summer and have made great progress, mostly through diet changes, running, and using Jillian Michael's Body Revolution program. I seemed to have hit a wall now on the last 10 pounds to reach my goal, and also would like to bump up the strength training. I bought this program a while ago, but just started incorporating some of the DVDs into my program recently. I prefer DVD workouts as for me they make the time go by very quickly. Starting now going to follow the program (for the most part - mixed in with my running routines) and hope this will help jump start my progress. Happy to be here!

Lorrie

I'm not doing the diet per the program. I read through it and was overwhelmed. I'm definitely eating better however - veggies and fruit instead of vending machine candies and cookies (my downfall at work), more water, and protein shakes after working out.

Hi Theresa & ShirleyM I have not done the diet, looked it over and am just incorporating into my diet. I am eating healthier and drinking more water/recovery shakes.

Those who can, DO!

Hi Everyone! I'm Theresa. I just bought Supreme 90 and am looking forward to shedding some weight using the program, but still may have to grocery shop to get a few things on the list. I was wondering if everyone is following the meal plan given or are using their own spark diet?

Hello all! Just finished Tabata for the first time. Is it just me or does the instructor say "you're cheating," "you owe me'" and " get down, get down, get down" a lot in this dvd? I felt like a bad dog on the couch! emoticon emoticon

I'm so happy to have found this team. My 16 year old son and i just started the program. he is on day five and i'm on day two. it's much easier for my son to get home and do it since i have the mother duties and seem to put myself last. I'm thinking the only way i can fit in is at 5am ugh otherwise i won't do it. what time do you all workout and how does it work for you? and what have been the results of S90? since it's been a few days from day 1 should i start the program over?

Hello everyone!!! My name is Kymm and I have just purchased S90 and I'm so excited about this program. I can't wait until it arrives, should be within the week. I have been doing a variety of DVD programs, Jillian Michaels- Turbo Fire- Biggest Loser-etc. I managed to lose over 80 lbs, I hit a plateau and became very discouraged. I gained back about 15 lbs. So enough is enough!!! I am getting back on track and will use S90 to kick my butt into shape. I know the videos will be tough, but that's just what I need.

I am currently on day 58 of round 2 of Supreme 90 Day. I LOVE the results of this program, even the second time around! I had already lost a good 40+ pounds with doing different programs, but I needed something more challenging. I started out on this program at 144lbs and a size 13 pants. I am now 118lbs and go between a size 1 and 3. I am more toned and healthier than I have ever been, and that is after three kids! My husband is also doing the program is on day 70. He has lost a good 20+ pounds since he started and is only 12 lbs from his goal weight. He is the lightest he has been since college and is the healthiest he has ever been. I love the fact that we both got these amazing results with 20 bucks!!! (to see more of our journey through getting healthy and Supreme 90 Day, click on the link to my fitness blog. :) I hope I can motivate others to finish the program! It is worth it!!!

Hello.
I started this program on Sept 1. Today I just finished the Tabata Inferno (Day 4). Already made it further this time. I originally got this program about a year ago and tried it and after Day 2 was sooooo sore that I could not even turn my head for about a week so I quit. I have spent this year losing 30 lbs and working out to easier workout dvds to get ready to try this again. So far so good this time (even though my arms and ribs are sore). Only thing I am worried about is that I get bored easy when doing a program with the same instructor. I have sworn that I am going to do the whole 90 days this time (so I have to stick with it). Would like to get in better shape and lose another 19 lbs during this program.

Hi everyone,
I'm Val and I just received S90 in the mail! emoticon
I'm not quite ready yet to start it as I plan on doing '30 Day Shred' (Jillian Michaels) for September first, but afterwards I think I'd be ready to give S90 a go! I previewed a few DVDs already and feel quite intimidated, so maybe easing into it with 30DS first might be good for me!? emoticon [I'm mainly looking to lose some body fat and tone up some more.]
I still wanted to join this group already and at least introduce myself!

Looking forward to get to know everyone better over time once I've started.

Have a great day, everyone! emoticon

My name is Lynn, been on Sparks many years now. Always battling the same 5-10 lbs. I bought Supreme 90 at BigLots for $4.00 after looking at it online for months. Had heard it was at Walmart for $20 but never could find it. Hate buying online so a friend sent me a link, and $.00. So I bought it for my niece also.

I have a bum arm due to cancer 16 years ago (lost the bone so metal inside) so I know I will struggle with a bunch of the moves but I also walk a mile daily & I am doing 5 minute abs on FIT TV.

I love seeing your daily successes..moving toward the 90 day finale.
Good for everyone sticking with it. Glad this board is active.

PS: Happy Dad's Day to any dads also...

Hi, I'm Alicia. I'm 34, married, with 2 kids, and I'm out of shape! This is my second time to start the Supreme 90 DVD series. Last time, I got 1 week into it and broke my foot! Needless to say, it put a damper on it. I'm healed now so I'm trying again. I just finished the 3rd DVD, Tabata Inferno, which I think is the hardest damn workout I've ever done! I'm determined to get through the entire 90 days this summer. I'm sticking to the Workout Calendar and I'm gonna do it!

I personally have found that I prefer a shorter Tabata workout and a longer Cardio Challenge workout, so I purposely cut 1 or 2 circuits from Tabata and add 1 or 2 circuits to Cardio Challenge. Also on Tabata I have found it important to organize my area and limit the number of different dumbbells used, so I get from one exercise to the next in 1 second and get 9 seconds to gasp for air. The models seem to take more time switching weights than resting in his one.

Hello again everyone! Roger I want to offer up MY emoticon also! CHEMCHIC2006, I just got done doing that Tabata DVD (first time). Man alive, what else can I say! I had to bow out for the last 2 rounds and fast-forward to the cool down until I get stronger. Otherwise, I pressed through and improvised here and there. These people in the vids look like 20-30-something. I am a little past that LOL! This September 2nd I will be turning 60 and I am 110% that this program will get me into the best shape. The reason I am mentioning my age is in hope that it will be an encouragement and incentive. In other words, if I can do it, so can YOU! Tomorrow will be Shoulders/Arms DVD. Compared to Tabata, that should be a cake walk LOL! See you next time emoticon

I've been exploring workout options and realized after trying various ones on my NetFlix membership that I enjoy the support and guidance of a workout video. Currently I'm about halfway through the 28-day boot camp challenge. I am looking for a little more structure/challenge and considered P90X based on a friend's recommendation, but the price just wasn't right and I knew I wasn't ready for a bunch of pull-ups. So I just ordered Supreme 90 from Amazon. I'm looking forward to getting started with it when it arrives.

A friend of mine who is in the Marines suggested I try this. I bought it in the fall and made it the first 2 weeks. I had shoulder surgery June 2011 and my should wasn't quiet strong enough to handle everything. I'm much stronger now and ready to give this another try. I'm getting married in 4 months and really want to look my absolute best possible. I have a long journey ahead of me…long after the wedding and for the rest of my life! My ultimate goal is to lose 70 pounds. Any support from this team will be greatly appreciated! I really like this system and was to stick to it!!

Hello everyone - I just finished Day 29 (legs) but joined the team today. I have to say, I love this program. I feel a lot stronger, especially in my core and I'm looking forward to my progress over the next 60 days. Legs is my least favorite but I know my legs are getting stronger too.

Look forward to cheering you all on!

Hi CCASKEY37! Welcome to our team and congrats on finishing your first S90D workout! Anyone of all shapes and sizes can do this workout.. it just depends on how much you push yourself. If you are fit and want to tone up, you can do that... just the same, if you need to lose some pounds and build strength.. you can do that too. This program is very versatile. Don't be discouraged by how others look and perform, just push yourself, and you will see improvement!
Good luck!

Hi all. Just finished the first workout, fresh from the package. So far so good. Although, I see the models on the cover and think they seemed fit already in the before pictures. Oh well.

Thank-you very much. I'm not going to give up. Today is day 4 and I'm scheduled to do the Tabata Inferno. I'm a bit intimidated because of what people have said in the support forum. I won't give up though because this is very important to me. I know if I can't do it all, I know in a few weeks, I will. emoticon

Hi Gwynnda and Welcome!
The Key to Supreme 90 day is just keep pushing through! Take each DVD as slow as you need to and modify to fit you own level... but stick with it and promise you'll see results and improvement! You can do it! Good luck and keep us posted :)

Hi, my name is Gwynnda and I ordered the Supreme 90 day almost a year ago. I did the very first workout and loved the "hurt" I had but it lasted for 4-days so I wimped out (yes, I'm embarrassed). I'm going to Vegas in about 90 days so I'm going to start this again. Best of luck and hello to everyone.

Looking forward to learning more about this site and reading everyone's journey.
Gwynnda

You will also notice how much stronger and more stable this training will make you in conjunction with your running and yoga program. Hi everyone!
My name is Ally, I'm 25 years old from central NY.
I just bought Supreme 90 Day today! I saw it at walmart a few weeks ago and thought about getting it but wasn't sure and wanted to see some reviews. There is only so many times you can do Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred....
So I was reading some reviews and found out it was at Best Buy for $10... for that price I couldn't refuse! Bought it today and plan to start it tomorrow!
I'm currently training for the Spartan Sprint with my fiance. We'll be running the Spartan in June so Im hoping this will be good prep. On top of these videos I'm currently doing the c25k program and I go to about 4 yoga classes a week.
I'm stoked to get a new challenge!

Goals and Rewards:

Complete the c25k program- get a foot analysis and new running shoes [complete]

Hi TINKI_DRAGONFLY! and Welcome!

You are never "not fit enough" to start this program. The key to Supreme 90 Day is that you do what you can do... as long as it challenges you. It you have to do pushups on your knees... then do them on your knees. You WILL see improvement, trust me. You can always pause the dvd's if you need to finish (I can never keep up w/ the people myself) or if you feel you need a break... just try to finish and don't worry about how long it takes you. If you do that.. you will see results AND you will see improvements. I started barely being able to do 2 pushups on my toes, falling off the ball, and using 5 lb weights. Now I can crank out 15 pushups straight on my toes, do the pikes on the ball, and use mainly my 8 and 10 lb (and sometimes 12 lb) weights! If you are intimidated, try doing the moves without the weights to start, or use 2 lbs, something small. Trust me, if you keep it up, you WILL improve (and you'll feel GREAT!)

Good Luck! You CAN do it! emoticon

Just got my program this weekend. Way too sore/tired to workout after working on my yard for 4 hrs Sunday so I skimmed the 1st 3 videos...and I'm not sure I'm fit enough to do this. Anyone have any experience modifying the workouts? I guess just do what I can and take breaks when I need to, jump back in when I'm able? They just look so freaking intense. Guess we'll try a few and see how it goes.

Hi everyone! I'm Ola!

My story: I bought the S90 DVDs in March 2011. Started using them in April 2011 in addition to running in prep for my 1st 5K. Between the running and 1st 30 days of S90. I lost 15 Ibs and was on a roll until wedding season and vacation time started in May 2011. I then stopped S90, got really busy trying to finish my Masters program and getting ready for law school for Fall 2011.
Long story short, here I am again, having almost gained all of the 15 Ibs back, and looking to make 2012 the year to stop all excuses, crazy law school schedule included.
I will start S90 back up as it was really effective for me, and will make sure to complete the 90 day span this time around. May God help me!
I look forward to supporting you all on your journey. Would you please do the same for me? :)
I wish everyone a great 2012. Whatever goals you have set to achieve, emoticon

Hello Everyone. I'm happy to be here.
This is my third workout routine this year. I completed the Power 90 workout and then went through the Power half hour set, again with Tony Horton.
One day I saw Supreme 90 Day at Dollar General and eventually bought it. There is a lot more substance in S90 than in the other workouts. I started Christmas Eve and am loving it.
Reading and posting daily will help keep me motivated.

I am feeling the workout from last night! I workout everyday, but I did moves and worked out muscles that don't get used much! I am looking forward to trying the Ball video. It sounds like fun, even though a lot of people mentioned slipping off and falling off of the ball. I will do it when my husband is not at home. He likes to secretly video me whilst doing random things like playing Just Dance on the wii : )/

Hi DHASHIKU! When I first did Chest/Back.. I thought it went by very fast... later in the program though after I hadn't done it in a while, I felt like it dragged on forever! Could have been my mood that day... but I didn't like it as much as in the beginning. Tabata is KILLER! But it feels so good when you're done. I think my favs are shoulders/arms, and back/bi's/tri's and core dynamics. I hated the last dvd.. I don't remember what it's called, and it only comes up maybe 3 times in the whole 90 days.. but it never grew on me, so I was glad I didn't have to do it too much.

Good luck w/ your workouts!

HI! I just got this set today and did Chest/Back and Tabata Inferno! I borrowed a friend's P90X, but only got to try a couple of workouts. S90 is more affordable and very similar! Did anyone else find the Chest/Back workout really fast? Are you supposed to go light on the weights? I really liked the Tabata Inferno. What workouts do you all enjoy doing the most?

Thanks! I'm looking forward to it too...I'm hoping that I see slightly quicker results than with P90X...I've heard that S90 is a bit higher intensity, so I'm interested to see and compare.

Thanks for the goodie too!!! I'm glad to be here!

Hi HISARTIST! If you made it through P90X twice.. then you will most certainly handle this! I've never done P90X myself.. but I've heard people like the Supreme 90 program because the workouts are shorter. I finished my first round in Aug,and thought it was a great program.. I saw a lot of improvements in several areas. Looking forward to hearing your progress!

Checking in - and SO excited to find a team of Supreme 90s!

I am on Day 14 and thrilled with the workouts.... just enough mix of what I CAN do and what I will LEARN to do... and not time to get bored..... I feel like everything I HAVE gets worked even though there are plenty of exercises I struggle with :-)

I'm 55, lost 60 pounds several years ago and have put a third of it back on my body. I am catching hold of the runaway eating and am back on track to determine what my healthy weight should be :-)

Of course, shopping for new clothes at all those after- Christmas sales sounds like a good plan too!

Kay :-)

Hi everybody! I just started the Supreme 90 workouts last week. Today was Day 6 and I am really sore so at least I know it's working. I'm not doing the clean eating. Maybe I'll ease into that but it would be hard for me to give up some of my favorite convenience foods. I only have 10 more pounds to go to reach my goal weight and am hoping the Supreme 90 videos get me there. Glad to join you all on the team!

I absolutely love Supreme 90! These workouts are great and only about 30 minutes long - you push yourself hard and see results even after 20 days. I recently completed P90X but wasn't thrilled with the cardio portion of it - I thought it was boring and long, so I mainly did the ST workouts. I would definitely encourage you to go through the whole workout, not just the warmup and do the best that you can. Tom Holland is great at encouraging you to do the best that you can and since you repeat the workouts, you do get better at proper form and strength and stamina builds. Good luck! I encourage you to jump in with both feet and make the commitment to get going.

I love kickboxing, too - and he does a FEW moves in Cardio Challenge that remind me of kickboxing, but very few. I feel that when I finish Supreme 90, I'll be better at kickboxing because I'll have better stamina, more confidence and more muscle. You could do an extra kickboxing workout a day or so a week, if you'd like more workout.

Hi there. Just bought the dvds and read the nutrition guide.

want to learn more about this (watch the dvds, practice some of the moves and start modifying my eating habits slowly toward the eating schedule provided). by November or december i will probably try to be fully on with the program. we'll see.

i joined sp 2 years ago and have been 5 or less pounds away from my goal for over a year. i like kettlebells and am trying to get more into kickboxing. Would like to see where a muscle confusion based program like this one would take me.

Any input, thoughts, experiences, things i should know? how has this been for u?

thx.

Hello. I started on 9/6, just finished Day 5. So far, so good. I am feeling it most in my arms & chest so far. I'm hoping I'm not gonna be this sore for the next 85 days. emoticon

I started Supreme 90 a week ago and I absolutely love it! I love the shorter intense workouts. I've done Cathe Friedrich's STS 90 day program and P90X...I absolutely love 90 day programs. I'm a lot hungrier since I started these workouts - that's for sure...I need to get my eating under control to see better results. I will be posting more soon..

Weight loss countdown:
15 pounds to go!

Don't force the numbers, they'll come. My job today is to adhere to a winning pattern of action that I know will produce results if I follow it consistently. (hussmanfitness.org)

Welcome you guys! Glad to have you on board! You'll find yourself loving these workouts (hopefully). Tabata is probably the biggest beast out of them all.

Hi...I'm new to the team and just bought my copy at bed, bath& beyond (w/ 20% off). . I was considering the P90X but this seems to be more affordable and sounds to be effective. I am looking forward to starting this in the next few days. I have a Olympic distance Tri this weekend and am suppose to be taper down the exercise to prepare for it. My plan is to change up my exercises from Swim, Bike,Run to this program. I need a break from the Tri training for a while.

Looking forward to being involoved with others that are also doing this program.

Hi all! I'm new here, and just received my copy of S90 in the mail! It wasn't supposed to come til after the holiday, so I'm pretty excited! I'm gonna preview some of the workouts tomorrow, I'm in the middle of a 30 Day Slimdown rotation of Jillian Michaels dvds, so I'm not sure if I'll start this right away (dedicated 90 days) or just incorporate a couple of the dvds here and there. I'm going on vacation in 23 days for a week, so I will probably start the actual "program" of 90 days when we return on 10/2, but give each DVD a try in advance so I know what to expect. Wish me luck!

Hi Team! I did not know there was another S90 SparkTeam. I found S90 at target and started my journey around July. It hasn't been perfect but I'm on Day 50 and looking forward to completing the program. I used to spark a few years ago, had to quit when my wife gave birth. My daughter turned 1 in august 3rd. The reason I'm on this journey is for my family - to stay fit and healthy for them so can enjoy every moment with them.

I am thinking of going for a 2nd round of S90 once i finish this. I am really impressed with the workouts and by far the best 20 bucks I've spent so far. Has anyone tried ordering the Ab workout dvd? I know its not included with the regular program. Does anyone have it?

Hi, I started S90D back in March but took a break and now I'm back to S90D and back to SparkPeople. Instead of following the Success Chart every day, I only exercise three or four days a week and skip the Ultimate Ball because I don't have the room and I spend most of the time trying to figure out what they're doing. I love the program, even my modified version, but am not following the meal plan. My favorite disc is definitely Tabata Inferno and my least favorite is a tie between Ultimate Ball and Legs (I hate having to repeat the circuit!)

I have done 5 Supreme 90 Day workouts and love them! I have yet to figure out the "best" workout schedule due to my 21 month old's erratic sleeping right now, but hoping to get something set soon. Definitely the best workout DVDs I have found for the price!

Hey Nancy....s90 is AWESOME! You will love the changes it makes to your body!! Before a workout..I don't eat. I do them bright and early and I can get through them fine. I just make sure I have lots of water on hand. I do a protein shake after I workout and usually eat fruit or today I had oatmeal with blueberries...If I do it later in the evening I wait a couple hours after I ate..but thats just me. A typical workout with s90 is 30-40 mins the shortest one is 18 and the longest is 45. Don't be scared ...TACKLE it!!! emoticon

Gulp! What am I getting myself into??

I never heard of S90D until a friend of mine wanted me to pick it up for her at Bed, Bath & Beyond (of all places) when I was in the States (we live in Canada). For $20, I couldn't only get her one! I needed to try it for myself.

I've been on SP for 4 yrs, but I've been pretty dormant for the last few months. I've barely raised my pulse since ... um .... March? I've gotten soft & flabby & out of shape. But I'll be sleeping in my exercise clothes tonight so I can work out in the morning.

emoticon Questions:
* When do y'all do S90D and how long after you eat how much??
* Will a thing of yogurt & a babybel get me thru a w'out??
* How long is a typical w'out? (in other words, how early should I get up??)

I'm a little scared but I'm glad I found you guys!!

Hello folks!

I've been on SP for a while, I lost a lot, then gained it back; Although I was working out, it was illness (diabetes) which caused more loss than my workouts & diet.. That's okay.. I'm working on getting my A1C and weight down.

I bought the Supreme 90 day more than a month ago from Target, and I've decided it's time to get off my butt! :)

I look forward to reading your thoughts & about our progress. Let's do it!

I am on day 37 so far of this program. I really like it for the variety of it. It certainly fits to any fitness level because you choose the weights you use and you have the luxury of always pausing the video if necessary. It is challenging, but not so much that I have even wanted to give up :)

I am thinking of buying these dvds. Do they have modifications on them for different fitness levels? The previews show three or four people but it is hard to see if they are doing three diffrent levels. The price seems to be a great value for what you get. Thanks for any answers!

I need to get some structure to my routine. I have just restarted Spark. I am moving, working full time and going to school so not much time and alot of STRESS right now lol. Need to pick up my exercise to help me cope! emoticon

My name is Rachel and I am from NC. I caught wind of Supreme 90 and rushed out to buy it. I take a Power Flex class three mornings a week and am a back-up instructor. In the class we work each muscle group in a certain order for 4 min with a min of rest in between. It is not too different from some of the S90 workouts, just entire body in one workout. I was also doing a lot of running but am going to put that on hold for S90.

I completed Day 24 this morning and have surprised myself by getting this far. I am very good at starting something new with so much enthusiasm just to quit for one reason or another and never finish. When I bought the workout I promised myself I would finish. I got a little depressed thinking of the things I have started and never finished and vowed to change my ways and finish Supreme 90.

I am almost 38 years old and have a daughter who is 7 and a son who is 4. I have a great husband but he is not Mr. Understanding when it comes to my fitness goals. On the other hand I do not understand his lack of fitness goals so we just agree to disagree. I want to be healthy mainly for myself but also to set a good example for my kids. I fight every day dealing with an underactive thyroid and exercise is one way to clear the mental fog and to boost my energy. I have felt a lot better since starting Supreme 90. My goals for S90 are to build muscle and lose body fat. I was already following a modified (better to say slacker) version of Tosca Reno's Clean Eating but really need to do a better job of pre-planning so I will follow it more closely.

I look forward to this fitness journey with all of you and have enjoyed reading all of the posts and experiences!

I can do it!

As they say on the DVDs it is important if you can keep up - do 100% of what you can do and you will see improvements little by little and that is what is important.

Hi all! I am Amy, from Arkansas. I am a 44 yr old 235 pound chick who is working to make some MAJOR changes in my life! I joined Sparks in 2008 at 267 pounds. I lost 66 pounds, then hit a mental brick wall that kept me out of "Onederland". Frustration & laziness took over and I regained about 20 - 25 pounds.

I was just getting myself back in the right mindset to work on losing again when my best friend passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. I lost all focus at that time, and in the 10 months since then I gained back up to 246.8. I came back here and started really working the program a few weeks ago and have lost 11.8 pounds so far.

I started S90 yesterday, and being a plus sized out of shape middle aged chick, I had to modify quite a bit, but I made it thru my first day and am looking forward to today's workout!

It will be interesting to see what changes come in the next 90 days...and then if it's going well I'll start over. emoticon

I posted a blog yesterday with more details if anyone's interested in checking that out.

~Amy
