Hi Julie I have a sister named Julie! I have sons the same ages as yours and my oldest has a few pounds to lose too. My weight goal and current situation is about the same as yours. My catalyst for my lifestyle path also happened about 10 years ago and now I want to nuture myself back to healthy weight and lifestyle too. I am glad that I have found this and to connect with you as well!

Hi, my name is Julie and I have just joined Spark America. I have been trying to get back into shape for many years now after a car accident. I have gained over the past eleven years all the weight I previously lost right around 90 to 100 pounds. I was very active, ran every day and quit everything after the accident as I had to learn to walk again. I felt so much better when I was running and exercising and am determined to get back into shape, but I need a little push. I am married to a wonderful man who has been under the weather for some time due to back problems and now seizures, so I spend much of my time worrying about his health. I also have two older sons 19 and 21, my oldest son is extremely over weight and I worry about this, hopefully if he sees me taking control of my weight he'll follow me in getting healthier. I work full time, but in my spare time love to cross stitch and do photography.
