Hi SCHOOLMARM, Don´t lose faith, hang in there. I know how you feel. I´ve been eating better and better since 1st of Jan, with an occasional fall back (chocolate cake - my youngest daughter turned 2yrs), and I just started working out everyday (except Sat/Sun) and I have not seen anything change. I´m still at 155 since Jan. I can´t say I´m too strict on my calorie counting either, though under 1200 might be a bit low, specially if you are working out everyday. I try to be between 1200-1500. I live in Germany and it´s hard to figure out exactly how many calories or fat I eat, but I try to make a good guess. So my chart might not always be accurate.
I do have a question. How do you count calories or fat for a homemade Stew, or chicken cacciatore, etc? would it go under "educated guess".
I have NO clue.
