Hey there, I am new to this group, I'm sorry to hear about both of your losses. It is a difficult disease to watch a loved one endure. I went through this with a couple of family members as well. I am a firm believer in the power of super foods and proper nutrition.
Welcome, I am so sorry for your loss. We just went through the same thing with my mom who battled colon cancer for 14 months. She gave me a job to do and that was look up how to beat this cancer using nutrition..including super foods. I too think it was too late when we actually tried them but I use my knowledge today to stop this cancer cycle in my family!

Welcome to the group. I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't been sticking to super foods or other healthy foods lately. I need to get back into it. It's so easy to fall back into eating junk.
I just happen to come across this group a few minutes ago. I just recently lost my sister in law to pancreatic cancer, she was only 32 yrs old and the mother to 4 children. My household family has been eating healthy for the last few years and within the last year we've stepped it up even more. I tried and tried to help my s-i-l with teaching her how these superfoods could help her. She did try, but it was probably too late for any of it to really help her. She only lived 10 1/2 months after being diagnosed with her cancer so I do know she was bad right from the get go. Learning more and more about these superfoods and teaching my 3 kids the benefits of eating healthy now just gives them the headstart for a better and healthier and hopfully a long life.
