Electramom, welcome to the team. You are such a wonderfully open and honest woman, it will be my honor to know you!!!
I love what you said "I obviously have so much love to give that God never tires of finding a new way for me to spread it around." All of us on this team should and have adopted that honor ourselves with at least one that we are or have been caretakers to. I have my soon to be 91 year old mom living with us. Just so you know a little about me. She's been with us 10 years now. And I am a better person for it. God bless you and all you attempt to do!!! Congrats on having a glorious daughter (even if she is a teen now haha). I have 3 grown daughters myself.

Hi, I am electramom, So named because I am a mother and at 48, I became an electrician! My (then 12) daughter, chose my on line identity. I am now 56, and I have been a care giver to several ppl in my life.
My husband was severely injured in 1997, in a construction accident...13 months later we learned I was to have my only child...Noelle. I was 42, 100+lbs overweight, with a spouse that couldn't move without pain. I had no idea why God chose then to allow me to conceive, but I am so glad He did! In the years to follow as I raised my daughter, I saw Bill through many surgeries...My mother to her final battle with diabetis...My sister to her final battle with colon rectal cancer...My brother to his remission of prostate cancer...& finally but certainly not least My father, who at 88, next week, may just outlive me! Then I don't know who will clean his house and buy his groceries.
I have done all this, including completing the Journeyman apprenticeship training, while my beautiful daughter has grown into a lovely young woman. She is mine and God's crowning achievement. Of course her father had something to do with it too. When I hit a wall economically last year, as many of us did, I chose food as my retreat. Bad choice. Now I am struggling to get to a weight I can live with. My work is labor intensive, and for the first time in 19 months I have been able to take a job. My niece has moved in with my father, and we have a friend (who needed a place to stay) living with us to help with Bill. So that Noelle can be the teenager she was born to be. Wish me luck on my journey. I need to make some money! Having a teenager is NOT CHEAP! But lucky for me the LOVING IS! I obviously have so much love to give that God never tires of finding a new way for me to spread it around. I do pray daily, I will pray with you, and for you. Should anyone wish to contact me, My door is always open at firstname.lastname@example.org.
My new job and some tweeking to my diet, which I have been working on since January '12, should do the trick. I look forward to loosing with you all.
