Welcome to the group. I'm glad you are here. Congrats on having your cancer found and treated. I did not have any chemo or radiation. I ended up having a hysterectomy. I wish you continued health.

I'm new to the team. My name is Bea, and although I didn't have ovarian cancer, I do have Stage 3 2C endometrial cancer. I completed Sandwich Therapy in February of this year - I did a total of six rounds of Taxal and Carboplatin, and in the middle of it all, I did 25 external radiation treatments and 3 brachytherapy treatments. I have been lucky - NED since August 22, 2012 when I had my hysterectomy. Looking for those who have a similar situation.
I have Lynch Syndrome - my oldest sister passed from Ovarian Cancer in 1999 (she was also stage 3). My older sister is a 20 year survivor of Colon Cancer, and my maternal grandmother also had endometrial cancer in the 1940s.
Be the change you see in yourself.
