Hi, Teresa -- I'm Sherrey, 65, wife, mom, grandma and greatgrandma, and I too have cried over boxes and children and grandchildren being far away (2000 miles). It isn't easy as we're moms all our lives no matter how old or where our kids are.
Welcome to this NEW team! I know Johannah is working hard to get us up and running, and I'm glad you've chosen to be here.

Hi Teresa! I'm Deborah and I'm quite new to this group also. My oldest son got married two years ago and moved from Ontario, Canada to the very south part of Virginia. He's now a 15 hour drive away! It's hard. I'm glad to meet you and am looking forward to talking. I also find it hard to sit down and start writing, but once I do I'm there for the rest of the day. It will be nice to know fellow-writers.
With Love, Always
Hi, I'm Teresa. I love to write. I've had a few devotionals and poems even go into print.
I'm the mother of two adult daughters still trying to find out what that actually means. Our oldest just got married Saturday. The younest is still living at home, but busy with classes at the local community college and her work.
After 16 years as a homeschool mom suddenly I have a whole lot more time on my hands to write if I can just get myself motivated. Today I've been crying over packing boxes of wedding gifts. After they get back from their honeymoon, our daughter and new son-in-law are moving over 2,000 miles away.
