So you work out every day for 90 minutes? Thought rest days were recommended.

I just completed the TA Method (30 Days) a month ago and lost 12 pounds. The only big downside for me was the cost (the groceries for the diet added up to over $200/week for one person until I started substituting/repeating meals) .... and a smaller downside was the time commitment. 90 minutes 7 days a week is something that I couldn't sustain once my family members had returned from vacation and boyfriend was back in the city (I'd timed the exercises to match up with my weeks of "me" time during their absence). Also, I do pilates for abs three times a week and stopped doing those for her 30 Day Method. Every other body part tightened up and looked better almost instantly, but my abs seemed to get loser and "bulgier" just 5 days in. So I added a "10 minute workouts Rapid Results Pilates" segment 2-3 times a week for the abs and full-body planks on top of the 90 minutes and my abs flattened back out right away. Her abs program consists mostly of repetitive crunches and I'm not 100% sold on those segments.

I still have 30 pounds to lose, and am doing that with her Meta program - the time committment is an hour six days per week and the grocery demands are more reasonable for someone with a full-time job, relationships, etc. I'm only 3 days in, but I like it and it seems more sustainable (which is good, since it's three times as long!).

Best of luck! At least with TA, you *know* you will see results. Not every diet / exercise program can offer that.

No, there's no cardio on her mat dvd. Just a billion leg lifts and an intense arm section! haha..I need the arm section bad. There's ab exercises too.

Hi BRADY & PERSIGABBI - I am also a TA newbie, doing the Omnicentric workout for the fifth day I believe. I can already tell my glutes and hamstrings are getting a great workout - and while I do agree that it's hard, with today being only my 5th day, I believe I'm getting better at it.

I also do TurboFire cardio workouts and with the TA Omni workouts I think I'm going to lose the stubborn fat I have and tone up - YaY!

So, keep posting and if you'd like, drop a line in the "What workout did you do today" thread here - even if it's not a Metamorphosis workout - any TA workout is going to present the same kind of challenge, so it'd be nice to hear how you all are doing! Have a great rest of the weekend! DC

Hi, I'm a newbie too. I just saw Tracy infomercial on tv a couple months ago. I ordered the omnicentric metamorphasis and I just got her Mat workout a couple weeks ago. I did the mat workout. That was HARD. But I think her moves are unique so I'm gonna keep doing it. I got the metamophasis but I haven't done it just yet. Doing her mat workout a bit first and then I'm gonna move up to the meta series. Good luck and keep posting. I think we all love to see how people get results on these home workout dvds. I think Tracy is unique in her ideas, so I do believe it will work if I stick with it.

Hi Everyone!

I have just discovered Tracy Anderson. I ordered her 30-Day Workout and have been dying to order metamorphosis but since it's been awhile since I worked out I thought I would try the 30-day one before I started the other. Any advice, recommendations, etc?
