My brothers played when I was younger and I liked watching them. Then we had season tickets for the B's. That was even more exciting. My youngest played hockey his whole school age life. Now I am back to watching the B's and I like it
Hi and welcome to the team. My son and daughter are the ones that turned me on to hockey. My daughter also started playing it in college and still plays now.
from PA formally from New England!

I'm a hardcore Bruins fan (although only for about the past 9 years. My Red Wings husband turned me on to hockey during the Finals in 2002 and now I'm a rabid fan of the Black & Gold. Most people think I've been a fan for longer, though.
I've been on and off the weight loss bandwagon a number of times. But this time, one of my incentives is my best friend's (well, really, best friends', plural, since I consider him a close friend, too) wedding in September. I met them both via hockey (granted, it was the Lowell Lock Monsters, but in the end, we're Bruins fans anyway.)
I'm her matron of honor, and I really don't want to look horrible for all of eternity in her wedding photos. I look bad enough in my pictures of the two of us from the Cup Parade and Banner Raising.
Glad to be here and find some other Bruins fans. Here's hoping we get back onto a positive streak against New Jersey tonight.
