HI,
I'm Amber and new to the sparkpeople website. I live between KC Missouri and Columbia, MO. I've had chronic health problems for three years now and just went to mayo for them. I was diagnosed with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome and Hyperinsulinemia and the doctors are trying to manage my diseases with diet, exercise, sleep and ultimately weight loss. My condition made it hard to go outside my house, so I lost basically all my friends and am looking to make new ones! :) I've had hyperisulin before when I was really little, which made me gain weight like crazy even though my diet was fine, but I lost 70 pounds and got back to normal. However my development of POTS brought that stupid disease back and I've gained it all back plus some. So now I'm trying to get my body right to manage my POTS and be normal again. I feel pretty detached from the social world right now and would love some buddies :)
