I totally understand what you are saying. I think the new program is misleading. I was at goal for years and have gained some weight back also. To me the main problem is the free fruits and the way they calculate foods.
I personally have gone back to not counting fruit as free. Vegetables yes but not fruit. Most fruits are high in calories and sugar.
Watch you carb intake. You can be in your point range and still have a high amount of carbs. Try lean proteins and veggies.
Make sure you weigh and measure everything.
Drink all your water
Try to exercise daily. Getting a pedometer is a great idea. Wear it for a week withouth looking at it. After a week see what you averaged a day. Try to up it each week.
