hey there .. i am lifetime member that needs to lose 100#... so i am familiar with the plans over the years... or at least since 82....
i have to agree... i liked the old core/flex plan... i have also kept most of my books.... i tried this new points plus plan and i don't like it that well either.. i at tended meetings when they introduced this new plan
i signed up for the online program i am using the new points but following the old core plan. and signed up for the two WW teams here... i am not new to sparks but have not signed up in here before..
i have a strange work schedule working nights... and other plans were not geared for my schedule.. so giving WW a try again..

I'm Athena I loved weight watchers with the old plan, it was easy to keep on track, the new way is just a pain! I haven't been to a meeting really since they started the new plan, I went a few times at first then tried a few months later and it was awful! I spent way too much on all the new things that you have to have to do the plan, trackers, doodads and whatsits, I mainly don't like the hard to press buttons on the electronic tracker. I liked the old book format, it was easy and the slider was quick and people didn't look at you in the grocery store like you were a total wack job from mars. Anyways, I lost about 25lbs the old way and want to get back on the old plan, I have found an Android app that has the old calculator, I'm going to also find the old book tracker and start using that again. Oh, I live in the Portland area and want someone that is on track with getting fit and wants to go out hiking and walking. I'm not a fan of the gym at all, loathe it, tried failed, never again. I have a few exercise DVD's that would be a lot of fun with someone else in the mix. P90X, Hip Hop Abs, UFC Trainer for Kinect, all are fun, just would be a lot more fun with someone else! :)
