Hi Jill!! I got my license in '06 and almost quit after the first day! We took the safety course, too, and it was rainy and they had us ride down a hill and come to a fast stop. Well, I lost control of the bike and almost went into some parked cars. I couldn't make myself go back the next week. My instructor called and convinced me to try again. I learned a lot from my "near miss" and I wouldn't give up my bike for the world!!!! You'll do it! It just takes practice. Welcome to the group!!!!

Hey, Jill! Welcome to the team. I learned to ride Sept '05, and am now on my 2nd bike, a Harley softail Heritage classic. I love riding my own bike. It's wonderful to be out in the fresh air, cruising around the country roads in my area. I hope you pass the evaluation soon, and get your own bike!

Welcome Jill! Hang in there. Learning to ride my own was quite the process (some painful lessons), but so worth it. I love riding my own. It has given me many opportunities for personal growth. Looking forward to hearing about your progress.

Hello all.

I've been on Spark for awhile but I just started getting into the teams.

I don't have a bike. Yet. Or my license. I did take the Motorcycle Safety Course this past weekend but I didn't pass the evaluation at the end so I'm not considered road-worthy yet. It was a rough weekend so I'm giving it some time before I try again. But I will try again!

My man Mark has a Yamaha R1 that I can fit on the back of and I enjoy riding with him but I would like to have my own.
