I was a mostly-vegetarian for many years, then went back to eating meat for a while..last year on March 20th I took the 30 Day Vegan Challenge and have never looked back!
My daughters are vegan/vegetarian but hubby was an omnivore and junk food junkie until recently when he got less-than-stellar lab results at his yearly physical. He started making small changes, and then we went on a holistic vegan cruise in March of this year. That experience helped him make even bigger changes and now, though he continues to eat some meat when dining out, I no longer buy it or cook it for him in the home. He's eating a lot less junk, and we're both looking forward to his next physical check-up, hoping those numbers have improved!
I've been struggling with my weight for years now, time to get serious! I want to be healthy & trim for the next phase of my life!
