Since you are a new vegan, I'd say be kind to yourself as you transition. A lot of new vegans tend to beat themselves up if they have slip ups or don't know how to handle situations. It is definitely a learning process and I'd say it took me at least a year to be 100% vegan as it takes practice. Learning how to read labels, learning how to handle social situations, learning how to handle work situations, etc. Just be kind to yourself :)
Welcome to the team and the next step in this crazy journey. The more you educate yourself the further you go. Everyone on this team is at a different stage of veganism. So feel free to jump right in. We have several threads that are on going. February we are having a Food Challenge. Pick a new to you recipe once a month and post in the thread. It's interesting what we have come up with. It is also a great way to share new recipes and expand our diets.
A man who wants something will find a way; a man who doesn't will find an excuse. - Stephen Dolley Jr.
Hello...I've been going toward veganism for about 5 years now. I decided that I'm taking the plunge. Netflix got me with Veganism. I thought that I was doing well with no pork or beef...but those poor chickens! Definitely ready. Went to the store, got soy creamer for my coffee...and I'm on my way!
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't...You're right!
Inside me lives a skinny woman...but I can usually shut the b*tch up with cookies! :o)
