Hey ladies! I was just reading that you were looking for some instruction. If you log into Vi-Net and go to the "Challenge" tab, and then to "Transformation Tools," there are tons of video tutorials, a recipe book, a suggested meal planner, exercise planner, and printable tracker. I find it to be a really helpful resource!

I've been feeling okay. If my shakes are really low, sometimes I add a fruit or healthy supplement. I've been having a lot of shakes with banana lately, so my nutritional facts aren't real low :P After a little over a week, I'm also not feeling as hungry, although, I've been really busy & it's my TOM (sorry, TMI, but it make a diff for sure!), so I'm not sure if it's due to that. I've been so very busy with work (I teach 5th grade), getting ready to move, getting 4 days of sub plans ready (now THAT'S brutal!) so I can head to Indiana for a bit. I've not gotten exercise in in so long, which sucks! I still managed to lose 1.4lbs last week & am hoping despite not working out, I can lose weight by getting the food part under control. I'm def a work in progress! :)

Thanks for taking on the team leadership. Hope you'll feel more on board right away. The shakes seem to be really helping me. Ingot no sleep last night because my baby granddaughter was here-- and instill had enough energy to exercise. I'm counting calories too, staying within the sparkpeople guidelines. Do the shakes make you feel good? Sometimes i feel weak, because I need more fat.
Be encouraged! Linda

Hopefully you can get to feeling better soon! Congrats on the 2lbs! Very exciting!! :) I'm on my own with this at home & have been so stressed with so many things that I've slacked off, but am hoping to get back on board! I'm hoping that becoming leader of this group will help motivate me to stay on track :)

Thanks for response! Finally figured out my ticker. And I already lost 2 pounds!!! I felt kind of weak, but when I went to doc yesterday found out I have a UTI, so no wonder. So far I've had shakes made with unswd cocoa-sf choc pudding mix and almond milk, 2) cheesecake sf mix -chobani pineapple Greek yogurt -almond milk, 3) sf jello lemon - plain FAGE Greek yog and almond milk. The chocolate is my favorite thus far. For snacks between I've had mostly protein, chicken etc. yesterday before I went tomZumba class I had a big tablespoon of peanut butter. Lordy it tasted good! Anyway, I'm encouraged, and I'm thinking I can do this! Forgive typos, am using teeny IPad keyboard.

How are you doing! Pretty neat that your dh is doing this too as I recall. Mine thinks the shakes are horrible, go,figure.. Here's to,shaking it up. Linda

Hello LOVINGHIM555! I've just recently started the shakes as well, so I'm by no means an expert on this either :) If you got the actual bag of shake mix, it should give you ingredients, etc. on the back. If not, try this website (http://www.bodyin90.com/challengepartydoc
s/ViSalusProductInfo.pdf) to see if it has what you're looking for.

As far as the carbs go, how low are you wanting to go? It seems that the ingredients in the shake you mad would be "good" ones, in which your body needs. There are MANY recipes out there that could possibly offer you a lower carb amount, or you could play around with some to adjust as needed. Pinterest or this website has a lot (http://www.livingsmartgirl.com/100-body-b
y-vi-shake-recipes/)! My faves so far are probably Monkey Shake & Butterfinger. Unfortunately, my carb & calorie amount for my shakes have been on the higher end due to using skim milk & regular peanut butter, since that's what I had on hand when I started.

Not sure what's going on with your ticker....Make sure that you're going to wear you save your measurements to ensure you actually saved it...? Sorry I don't know more!

Good luck! :)

Just edited my ticker, but can't get it to show my current weight, which is the same as my current weight now. What am I doing wrong? emoticon

Hi! I just heard about Body by Vi this weekend and thought I would try it, I've tried everything else! My daughter in law had to stop taking the shakes because of tummy aches, so,she gave me all her shake powder. I just started yesterday. Like you, i have no instructions, recipes or even the ingredients in the shake powder, which i wanted toshow to my doctor. does anybodynknow what's in it?

I've had success with low carb before, but with lots of life changes I started eating everything again and gained back a lot. For me, a diet only works one time. If I try to go back to,it, I get sloppy and it doesn't work. So this will be my new thing. Loved the recipes in this forum ! This a.m. I had almond milk, shake powder, ground flax and 1/2 cup peaches. It was delicious. I probably need to eliminate the fruit because of carbs.

Hooe everybody stays active here, I need your tips!

Linda
