Wow! congratulations on your success. And your scrapbook efforts. I would have liked to have thought of starting a scrapbook when I started. But I didn't think of it and didn't like to look at my pictures back then. You will so enjoy looking at it later, not only because of your success, but because it was a great bonding time with your daughter.
I am on a journey to better health and fitness. I am scrapping my journey every step of the way. I started this past February 2010 when I joined a Community Women's Walk. I could hardly walk 20 minutes. In May, I walked my first 5K race. Cried when I went over the finish line. Since then, my 22 year old daughter has commited to walk with me in a 5K race, once a month, till the end of this year. She is a runner. Very inspirational to me. We did one more 5K race, just walking. I decided to start running, and by the next race in July, I was running it. Every race we have done so far, I have beat my personal record. She stays with me the whole time, encouraging me to go to the next light pole, or you can make it to the next sign. We have finished 7 races so far and have 3 more planned. I have taken pictures and kept all of my running numbers and information to scrap. My daughter is moving away in December to start her new career in another state. I will miss her dearly, but am planning on giving her a scrapbook also of all of our races together. She is my greatest inspiration.
