Hello. It takes a few weeks to really learn the in and outs to low carbing. Keep a food log and such so if you need to you will have it to look back on later. I love eating low carb myself but I have to say at first it was a little hard but now its just the way things are for me.

Paleo is a great lifestyle, and very compatible with many more traditional low carb plans. If you're not getting the success you'd like, though, you may be more insulin resistant that you expected to be. It can't hurt to go very low carb for a week or two and see how you feel. You may be one of the unlucky ones who have to wait quite a while to add in some of the higher-starch paleo faves, like sweet potatoes and such.
I am new to this team, fairly new to low carb (but not so successful) and not so new to Sparkpeople. I've been trying to do paleo style eating but I think carbs are key. I live in the Northwest with my 3 bratty dogs and I'm hoping to rejuvenate my life!
