Folks are always amazed I lost 130 pounds (previous to lc) and I always say it't keeping it off 4 years that's amazing. I did gain back a bit between surgery and perimenopause. LC is a very different experience for me but one I'm glad I found almost a year ago.

Good for you know what works and getting back to business. Glad to have you here.

I am starting my ticker again since starting low carb....in the home strech!
You have no control over what you weigh...only what you do.
Progress NOT Perfection!

Yes, I am a wealth of low carb knowledge! I KNOW how to do it and do it well. I just allowed myself to fall in to bad patterns and thinking for a myriad of reasons, but most of all, just not being prepared to low carb.

So, yes, as a successful low carb veteran, please, feel free to ask me questions, friend me, etc. I do post recipes on sparkrecipes.com (lost all my old ones boooooooooo ) but, have just posted 2 new ones. One is induction friendly, the other is not.

Anyway, I am so happy to be back and ready to rumble! emoticon

A few years ago, I lost close to 100 lbs on Atkins and exercise. I looked and felt better than ever. Now, after a divorce, becoming a single mom and working fulltime, I've managed to put some weight back on. Don't fret, its only 25-30 lbs but enough to make me groan and kick myself now that I am wanting to date again ;)

Anyway, if there are any old timers on here, my old moniker was La_Guerita and I was quite active in the low carb community. However, I'm guessing due to a lengthy absence, SP can't find my old page :( So, this is my new one.

I am looking forward to being reinspired and remotivated by all!
