I guess you could try just eating the yolks, Nay, or throwing out every other white. That would get the fat and calories up while reducing the bulk. Or adding extra fat to your eggs when you cook them? Though I have to admit that 4 extra large eggs with about 2 tablespoons of drippings isn't very satisfying for me, either.
Mom, are you through the Induction Flu phase? A lot of people get really tired while their body is making the transition from burning carbs to burning fat. Just be patient. It usually passes within a few days, a couple of weeks at the most.
So Nay, what do you usually have for b reakfast? I usually do bacon or sausage and eggs and of course coffee with cream in the morning and it usually holds me pretty good until at least nonn.

Yesterday was turkey sausage and 3 strawberries for breakfast, AM snack Beef and cheese stick, Lunch Ready pac cobb salad and small apple, PM snack atkins bar, Dinner shrimp/steak/chicken fijitas no wrapping and hot tea w/ splenda.
Don't feel too bad about him losing faster. You'd still be considered fit at 24% bodyfat, whereas he would be average/overweight.
Take your time and enjoy how great low carb makes you feel - the fat will come off slowly but more or less surely.

Hello my name is Sandy and I have been a member of spark for a very long time. However, I started back with the New Year. So far I have lost 4 pounds. Not from not dieting or exercising. I was exercising 1 to 1 1/2 hours a day. I lost 6 inches but only 4 pounds. However my BMI is still saying I am overweight, it doesn't differentiate between fat and muscle. So I decided over a week ago to cut down on my exercise to 45 minutes to an hour a day and go low carb to get the scale moving down.
I have the book low carb for dummies and I am still eating vegetable and fruits but no pasta, potato or bread 6 days a week. I allow myself the occasional carb on Sunday as we travel out of town to visit family and I can not always control what food is offered when visiting. My husband lost 4 pounds last week and me only one pound. UGHH! so aggravating but I am hoping week two we be better. I pack my husbands lunch and make is breakfast. He is eating what I am with a few more snacks and losing. UGHH! When I hit 40 seems like my metabolism stopped as well.
