I started eating low carb a while back, had tremendous success but was sidelined with a chronic medical condition that required me to be on extended large amounts of steroids(again), which meant no matter what I did...I GAINED!! So I (foolishly) decided to give in & might as well enjoy the medicine induced weight gain to some extent! Of course it didn't help, but at that time I was in a place of "Whatever, I give up!" I don't need to tell you guys that I gained the weight back, do I?
I am now tappering down & I'm finally down to 10mg & feeling so much better. But I also think that me feeling a bit better has something to do that I am watching my carb intake!!
So, here I am ready to do this lifestyle change once & for all, looking for support, tips & encouragement from fellow "Low Carbers".
There is one thing I keep going back & forth on & need help with!!
I signed up for the 7 day food log challenge & since I m using some of the ATKINS products, I manually add the nutrition values into my fav's. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I suppose to add the total amount of carbs or are we, like ATKINS does, only list the "Net Carbs"???
