I rarely buy processed food where most of the carbs come from.........if I get fast food when I have a coupon, buy l and get l free. I take off the bun and only eat the veggies and meat. That saves a lot of calories and carbs. If you can't give up the whole bun, then only have half of it. I need to be more conscious of my portion control even if I am eating low carb, a calorie, is a calorie and that is what we have to keep in mind, at least I do. I only have 54 days until I leave for a cruise by myself and want to lose enough to feel confident in whatever I wear. So I have to be serious about watching and controlling what I eat.

The name says it all: LIVING Low Carb. This really isn't a diet team, it's a life-change team. Most of us particularly avoid carbs from grain, since they (and wheat especially) seem to come with additional problems of their own!

Looking for a new group to join that is more in line with my challenges. I had great success with the 17 Day Diet, and came to find out that it works! Lost 25 lbs initially, unfortunately gained some weight back when I began eating bad carbs again. Need to get back on track. Low carb living helped my health out tremendously; dropped weight, eliminated high blood pressure and glucose intolerance. Now I am being told that carbs may be what is causing all my remaining health issues. Who knew! Looking forward to this new group.
