Welcome to Spark People and to the 12 months team... my suggestion would be to really learn how to use the fitness tracker and the nutrition tracker, unless you are still using the WW method. If using the WW method, you won't really need to use then nutrition tracker. However, they both are really great tools to ensure you are eating enough and getting enough exercise. Once you mastered those two things, the rest of the site just comes naturally after playing around with it. If you aren't sure, just search on it - you will find the answer or just ask.

I kind of ran across Sparkpeople by accident, but I was so intrigued I had to sign up. All of the information is a little overwhelming. So if anyone has any suggestions on how best to use the site, I would really appreciate it. I'm 51 years old and a Cali girl. I've lost 80 lbs. on weight watchers but had to quit because it was getting to expensive for me. I've been through a tough year and regained 20 of those lbs. Now I'm determined to lose the last 40 or so lbs. once and for all!!! I love to travel to the coast and walk along the beach. I also love being with my kids and 10 grandbabies!
