Please MAKE A SPARK PAGE and make sure it's not set to "private". Having a Spark page adds another layer of support. Your fellow team members can read your blogs, comment on your page and send you "goodies". The team gives out goodies for reaching certain goals. Optionally, make sure the box is checked to receive emails from the team, be notified when there are new posts or at least receive the weekly team digest. That can be found by clicking on "My Spark Teams" under Quick Links to the right and towards the bottom of any page.
READ THE ENTIRE BOOK! Some people only read cycle one and then quit mid way thru blogging about how this is a fad diet that restricts foods. Cycle one is a cleansing cycle. It's restricting foods to clean your system of all the toxins processed foods have left in your system. It's breaking the cycle of dependence on artificial sweeteners, sugar, fat and sodium which are keeping you hungry and fat. Healthy starches (carbs) are reintroduced. Others only read the food lists and then don't understand the science behind why this diet is designed the way it is. You can't stay on cycle one. For the first round, you have to follow all 3 cycles in order.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ'S) like about "DETOX SYMPTOMS", "why LEMON WATER" and "need for fewer CALORIES" , "CONSTIPATION" or WEIGHT GAIN IN C1" are all answered in "Top Tips for Newbies" (or the "Articles, CD's Books...") topics, both under the " THE 17DD SELF-IMPROVEMENT" forum. Please read the answers before posting those questions. If you have any other questions you can't find answered in the boards, by all means feel free to post a new topic, or ask in your cycle group if you are in one.
There is no need to post a recipe from the book or the Doctors TV website (that link is posted). There are the "Fun" topics and feel free to join in and ask your own "Question Du Jour" with a NON 17DD question. That topic helps us to get to know one another.
