It will happen again. You lost weight the right way before, and you can do that again. It is frustrating to have to go through this again (I know how that is), but you are at a much better weight this time than you were the last time.
Do you belong to a gym? If so, there might be cardio machines that work just the arms.
You are going to have the happiest day in your life occur this year. It will be the happiest day whether you lose this weight or not, but you already have the skills to be successful here. Just keep posting here and also on the "daily chat" thread (so you meet other people too), and we'll give you support.

I pretty much ate whatever I wanted, just less of it. I only ate three meals a day. snacking is just not good for me personally. If i knew I was going out to eat or a special event, I would adjust my day to it. not eating so much the rest of the day. I, at the end, was walking 4 miles a day. I drank around 60 oz of water a day or more. It took me three years to do it but I did it. I jut hate that i have to do it again. It was so hard the first time! Frustrated and hate how I feel. Very emotional. I just want that feeling again of being thin etc. Just don't know if it will ever happen

You are doing a great thing by using Spark and stopping the weight gain before it gets out of control. It's impressive that you have lost 102 in the past, so now you need to gain the confidence that you know what to do to begin to lose weight again. Can you describe what you did to lose weight before? I know exercise is limited for you now due to your surgery, but what changes in your diet did you make then?

Hi, I am Jennifer and I am trying to get back on track after losing 102 pounds over three years ago. I am new to the message boards. I have regained over 35 pounds after having major surgery on my ankle/foot. I am from SW Missouri. I am getting married in June and want so much to be at or close to my original weight. But I am having a hard time getting motivated and feel very bad about myself. I also think about food all the time. My goals are to get back down to 150 or less. be able to walk close to how I was walking before(as much as my new foot will allow.) To feel good about myself and to fit into the closet full of clothes that I had worked so hard to get into. I love to read, watch tv, spend time with my fiance and my family. My fiance and I started walking on trails before my troubles with my foot started. Thanks for reading my post. I do hope this gets the motivation going. My self esteem is pretty low right now. It upsets me to remember how I was before the surgery and knowing that I have a wedding dress to fit into.
