My name is Lisa! I'm 24 and I live in Ohio. For many years I've been telling myself that I need to lose weight and that I'm not happy with the way I look and feel. But yet, I still sat on the couch and didn't do anything about it. A few months ago, I joined a Zumba class and fell in love with it. I thought that was a good step towards losing weight, but I still didn't see any results. I knew dieting is what needed to come next, but so many of them turned me off because you have to deprive yourself of so much. My mom bought The Spark book and as I started to read it, I realized that this may finally be my ticket to losing weight. So here I am! A little overwhelmed with all of the information, but I'm determined to lose the weight. My goal is to lose 60 pounds by my friends wedding in May of 2012. I think it's an attainable goal and I realize I need to start small. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes. =)
