Hi and Welcome to the team. You have the right attitude to succeed and the right approach to your new lifestyle. I would suggest making a spark page so that people can find you to lend their support and make you their friend. The food and fitness trackers are very enlightening and so helpful in staying focused. hello!

I'm new to the site...not new to the diet game. And of course i'm worried about being able to lose the weight. I had a baby, who just turned 3...not such a baby anymore, and yet the weight is still here. i've been motivated off and on to get the weight off, and each time i lose weight...then gain it back, plus some! I am afraid it's a never ending battle. I've seen close family members struggle their entire lives with losing weight. The numbers, for me, really aren't what I'm shooting for. I just want to feel good again. I know I'll never be the size I was in high school. and i'm really ok with that. I want to feel confident in what i do though. I am aspiring to be a pastry chef..which isn't the greatest for the waist line! haha! But It is what I love, and I love feeding people! I just need to control how I feed myself. A diet really isn't what I need, i need new habits in eating.

So what's my game plan? I plan to work out in a fun way. do some exercises here at home because it's hard for me to get to the gym everyday. I play volleyball too, so I'll be having practices atleast once a week for that. I want to participate in sports as much as possible. I plan on working on portion control, and slowing down when I eat. Drinking plenty of water, with juice/soda only once a day. Any treats that I will have I will have to make myself. no store bought candy, or icecream or anything of that sort. strictly made by me so I can determine what the ingredients are, and make it as healthy as possible.

I know this isn't going to be easy. and I don't expect it to be. but I got myself here, and I am the only one who can get myself out.
