Truthfully, I know I would lose count during my initial runs. I got my Garmin and that helped but not 100%
It speaks volumes when one has that problem though. It's saying you're taking this seriously with commitment and consistency! And that's a good thing. Keep sharing and holla iof you need any answers! Cool runnings!
