Hi everyone. I joined SP tonight..set up all my pages...logged my stats and entered my goals...now the introduction part, right? Well, this is my out of body experience, because this is something I don't never do ...I don't put myself out there, I can't discuss (let alone admit) that I need to lose weight, and I never, ever take the chance that someone, somewhere, may recognize me and see my digits...but this hasn't worked for me so far, so I'm looking to shock myself in to smartening up.
Shortly after my best friend passed away from breast cancer 3 years ago I began training to walk the 60km weekend to end breast cancer for the Princess Margaret hospital in her honour. From April to September I logged about 40kms per week and lost the same number of pounds. I felt awesome! Now I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life and I am miserable.
I am here now to change, and I sure could use your help...I'm tired of dragging around the scale attached to me. I need to feel awesome again!
Any advice to get started on the right track would be most appreciated :)
