I am another one attemping to run yet again. I just made myself do run/walk#2. Really didn't want to do it - have a cold, worked late, so many excuses. But learned a few things - yoga pants don't work for running, they fall down. So here I am running in the rain and sleet in the dark trying to hold up my pants, hang on to the dog leash and a flashlight, and my toque (hat to non-Canadians) is falling down into my eyes. But I did it and I feel great so I must remember this feeling so I will continue to do this program.

Today was day 1 of week one. I am starting again... I am hoping to stay motivated. This has been a tough year. It felt good to get on the treadmill and do 30 minutes of running and walking.

I'm starting over, too. I originally started this program back in Feb, but when I got pregnant and had bad morning sickness it was hard to convince myself to stick with the program. I was later put on some restrictions and wasn't able to exercise, but now my son is 2 months old and I'm cleared to work out again. I started the 5K Your Way Rookie Running Program over on 12/6. I really hope I can make it through the program and run a road race in the spring.

After two pretty bad years and a twenty pound weight gain I am going to get serious again about losing my extra weight. I have about 70 pounds overall that I need to lose. Having Chrons sometimes makes eating healthy difficult. Things like green vegetables and fruit can make me feel sick. Hopefully I can get some advice and help on how to manage my weight, begin exercising and dealing with my illness at the same time.
