Thank you! I'm going to try it by following the program exactly and seeing how I fare. The one question I had, though is about soreness. I ran more than I usually do on Saturday and I have soreness behind my knees. I know that some soreness is to be expected but how do you know if it's actually an injury?

Sure, this program is only a guideline to get you started. If you've been running start in the program where you feel you are with your running. If it doesn't work, either just keep repeating the week until it does or fall back a week.

Hey everyone! I've been on SparkPeople for almost a week and I'm super excited to start this program. I have already been doing my own make-shift training program for two weeks and so far, I've worked up to about 5 minutes of running/1 minute walking. Is it possible to start in the middle of the program?
