Thanks for the encouragement! I'm disappointed to admit that so far this week I've only done day 1. It's been over 100 all week, not good weather for running. I have rode my bike to work 4 days this week for a total of just over 16 miles, doesn't really count towards my running but at least it's something!

That sounds like so much fun!!! I would love to do one of those sometime.

The best motivation is just to think of it as one day at a time. Bit by bit, you make changes by making the right choice one day at a time. Let us know how it goes!

Hi! My name is Nicki and I just joined this team today. A few co-workers and I will be doing a Mud Run in October and since I NEVER run, I figured this would be a good place to start! I usually start out pretty motivated but tend to lose it after a week or so, if anyone has any tricks to staying motivated I would love to hear them! emoticon
