I'm new to SP, too. I joined in March this year. I'm hopelessly hooked to this site! I'm on about 6 different teams, with many different goals, and I love it! It really helps to motivate you by tracking your calories, workouts, the support of your teams, trying to earn your points for the day, etc.
It's definitely changed my outlook on my lifestyle...and I thought I was doing pretty good to begin with!
