The 5K was something I wanted to do on my own. I started out with the walking program, but I think I walk to much at work so I need to vamp it up. I walk on average 8 to 10 miles a day so I think I'm gonna jog. The option of competing in a race in the future is always something I would love to do. Thanks for the warm welcome and I will def keep everyone up to speed with my progress!

Hello everyone! My name is Nina and I'm coming to you from North Carolina. I'm 27 years old and am currently trying to lose 79 pounds to reach my goal weight of 145. When I started out this summer I was 267 pounds and through much support and motivation I've successfully lost 43 pounds! It has made a great impact on my family as well my husband has dropped 7 pants sizes and my son now seeks healthier foods and activities. Today my coworker have started a biggest loser competition to keep up accountable through the holidays and keep up motivated in our weight loss goals. Can't wait to meet all of you!
