Thanks for responding to my post...it's nice to know there are nice people like you to help cheer me on! Am in my second week of training for the 5K now and things are a little tough, but supportive responses like yours are a good motivator. (Having a "goal" chart to check every day is really helping, too!)

My name is Lori and I'm trying to get ready to participate in a 5K walk/run to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. I'm walking with my brother who lost his wife to this disease almost two years ago. Their 12 year old daughter is also on our team.
