Self image is a problem many of us struggle with and it is something that we all work on to keep above water. Start with some small steps that are taking care of you. Plan some "me" time to walk or do something active that you can give yourself thinking time. Plan and set SMART goals. Small, Measurable, Attainable, Reasonable and Timely. These goals can help you build on your success and improve your outlook.
Start with small steps and build on your success. To make a sweeping lifestyle change often sets us up for failure because if we fall short at all, it is a failure of the whole system.
You can do this. It is hard, but it is something we can do for ourselves.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
You will never "find" time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.
I've lost weight when I was playing mommy and I've lost weight after my son was taking care of himself. And I've gained it back each time. Point is there is no ideal time to lose weight or keep it off. Life and its events will never stop happening. And here I am again with 140 pounds to lose. I know what to do, but each time it gets harder to take the time to workout and plan my food. It is easier to not make the effort. I am sick and tired of being fatigued and fat and I am using that as my motivator this time. I have to make "me" a priority!
Look within and find "Jennifer". She didn't go anywhere, she's just waiting for you to take the time and effort to be with her! :)

I'm really hoping I don't give up on finding Jennifer; that is to say, finding the "old me." The one before kids. Maybe even the Jennifer that existed after the first child. I just don't want to be this Jennifer anymore. I struggle with motivation and follow-through. I start, then stop, even when I am making success. I tend to do that with most things. I hope I can be an asset to this online community at some point. I look forward to connecting with people who understand my my struggles.
