Welcome. I listen to book while I walk. Any way that works is good.
Call me WG
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
You will never "find" time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.
dont get discouraged This is all new and will take time. You need to find ways to make it fun. In my case I have a headset when walking to add to my enjoym, ent.
New to the site and the method. I live in Rock Hill, SC. I'm trying to get my weight down out of the obese range, so I need to loose about 50 lbs. I've signed up to walk in a 5k fundraiser in a few months, so I'm trying to get into shape for that. Where I work has the hallways marked off so that four circuits is a mile, so I don't have the excuse of bad weather not to walk. I'm visually impaired and don't drive, and since I'm trying to save money, I am trying to workout at home. I tend to try new things and get discouraged, so a community to keep me motivated will be great.
The trouble with life is, you're halfway through it before you realize it's a do-it-yourself thing.
Cats took many thousands of years to domesticate humans.
The road to success is always under construction.
