I have rain gear but don't go out when it is pouring as it can be dangerous because the cars aren't as careful as they should be.

I use either my Wii game or a walking DVD to get my steps in. Both work quite well although I don't think I get the same workout as the uneven terrain of a walk outside.

I'll introduce myself. Hello from Alabama. Really today is an off day for walking so I'm not being lazy. I needed a place to get information on walking for exercise and ideas for staying motivated. I have found the place. My plan is to get active instead of "exercising", find things to do that don't involve sitting on the couch! I look forward to learning from y'all and getting fitwith y'all. Sounds like that crazy woman on the food channel huh?
