I have been doing "sporadic" walking because my doctor said that walking would help to control diabetes. My long term goal is to get off meds. But to do that I MUST walk everyday. Short term is to do a 5K walk.

And so, today I am walking the treadmill for 10mins (without stopping) twice a day. The plan is to work up to 15 min straight x2/day. Then on Monday 8/15 I will begin the training plan for the 5K Walk Your Way Plan. My race is scheduled for Sept 17
