you can do this. I never thought I could walk a 5k and now I do it at least twice a week. And I have added some jogging in there. Who would have thought? LOL
I totally understand what you are saying!!! I have done a 5K in the past (quite a while ago) but only walked it. I have been working on my walking to average 16 min miles and plan to do a Virtual 5K in Sept. I am looking forward to that! My goal (at 47 and never being a runner before) is to RUN a 5K by next summer. So, I got a ways to go to train and to get more weight off too!
Good Luck with your goal... YOU CAN DO IT! :)

Once you know how you can work on reaching your goals and what you are willing to do to reach them, there is only one step remaining. DO IT! MAKE YOUR DREAMS HAPPEN!
Hi team! I'm...gonna do it. I know I can walk a 5K--I walk pretty regularly anyway. But I've never consciously said "I'm going to walk 5K." What I'd really like is to work my way up to jogging and (eventually!) running a 5K. Scary, eh? I'm so exited. :)
So I struggle with jogging, and running is pretty much out of the question at this point. But I figured I would start with the walking program and work my way up. I can do this, right? I can run a 5K if I stick with it.
I just need to stick with it.
Feel free to pester me about sticking with it...
