I've learned it's one day at a time. Rather then just focusing on losing weight I've made my goals about eating healthier, walking daily (even for 5 mins) and reducing pain. You can too. Good luck to you!
Welcome Chemie! I've been doing the Spark thing for a while now, and I'm almost at my goal; I think it's because of keeping the food diary, since nothing ever worked before. My arthritic hip is dramatically better, presumably because I lost the weight and I'm taking the right kind of exercise. It hasn't stopped hurting completely, but I'll take the improvement gladly! The exercise I take is walking at least a mile most days, stationary bike (recumbent) the other days, and an aquafit class once a week.
Hi everyone! I just joined the team today. For years I let fatigue and joint keep me from being more active. Now I have a lot of extra weight from sitting on my rear too much, that just makes my joints hurt worse. I've tried dieting in the past, I usually lost 10 lbs before I stop losing. This time, I want to reach my goal :-)
