Thanks I will write that down. I tried Yoga for a very brief spell but it always seemed like something I couldn't do. This sounds a little easier and may have some possibilities. emoticon

Welcome! I just got a new yoga for arthritis dvd and it's amazing! The teacher's name is Peggy Cappy and it's called, "Yoga for the rest of us." Almost the entire first hour is stretching and it really helps. Good luck finding something that helps you!

It has to say "TART Cherry Juice". The regular cherry juice doesn't seem to do it. There are a lot of people in our Sr. Mobile Home Park who have had really good luck using it. He has about 6 oz in the morning. His hands used to cramp so bad that he would have to sit on them and also run them under hot water to get them to ease up. Hope you have as good as luck with it. If you don't find a store that has it, the store will order it for you. We have to order ours here in S. TX as the stores don't carry it. My husband says that even though it's TART cherry juice it tastes quite sweet to him. BE SURE IT IS TART CHERRY JUICE though.

No I haven't tried cherry juice. That's new to me. How much is recommended and do you just drink straight juice?

Welcome to the group!! Have you tried drinking "TART CHERRY JUICE". My husband has osteo and rheumatoid arthritis and this seems to help him quite a bit along with his medication. His medication alone doesn't seem to do it for him as well and since adding the Juice he has been much more comfortable.

Hi and Welcome,

I am only in my third week at Sparks so am new as well and just last week joined the Arthritis team. I am 54 and have arthritis in both my knees so find some exercised that involve deep knee bending difincult. I have been waching some of the exercise videos (notice I said watching not doing) but some especially the low impact aerobics look like they would be very doable so keep searching the site I'm sure you will find something that you like and that will work for you. I will add you as a friend and perhaps we can muddle through this together. emoticon

Welcome to sparks! I t can be hard to be very active, but sometimes even the small things add up to good exercise. There are low impact exercises here that can help you be active without a major strain on your body, that might help.
