Try to find something to keep yourself moving. It is very important with AS or you will have more pain and lose mobility. Is there someone that can give you rides. Most com munities and even churches have programs to help people with transportation.
Welcome back. I have knee problems, and have tried the exercise videos that you can do sitting in a chair, and they have been working for me. I noticed a difference when I didn't exercise, so I am doing them every day.
I joined SparkPeople years ago, but I haven't been around for a long time. Hit the reset button yesterday, and here I am.
I mainly control my arthritis by going to the pool for an hour a day/5 days a week. Currently I am not driving because of another condition, so no pool. I feel like I am seizing up. So I am trying to do some other forms of exercise here at home, even if it is painful.
So far I have just been playing a few Wii games. Not a great exercise plan, but a beginning.
