to the group. I am 57 years young and I have had both total knee replacements as they were bone on bone. Had real trouble doing anything. before I had it done. Going stairs was a nightmare. Going forward and having it done, 6 months apart was the best thing I ever did. Still can't do 100%, never will. I can now walk my granddaughter to school, do things with her etc. I'm moving forward to a better life. Getting it done opened better posibilities to exercise I couldn;t do before.
I WILL SUCCEED BECAUSE I KNOW I CAN DO IT AND I AM MOTIVATED.
Hi I have only been on SP about a week. First weekly weigh-in will be Monday. Went to the Orthopedic MD yesterday after being referred by primary doc. Was told both knees worn out and need replacement. ( Still deciding about that) Did get Kenalog injections tho. Challenge for me is exercising and losing weight with limited and painful mobility.
