I just wanted to check in and thank everyone that has replied to me. I am sorry it took so long to get back to you all but have limited time on the computer here. My laptop got stolen (not here) and haven't been able to replace it yet. On the good news front, I am going home on Monday-New Year's Eve! I finally decided that I was walking as good as I can now, so it was time to leave. Besides which, I miss my little dog! Am still doing my therapy exercises and walking as much as the neuroapthy will allow me, which is about as much as before. I know I can do it so it is time. Need to have neck surgery for a bad disc and then will get my other knee done. Move over bionic woman! lol

Welcome! You can do this - have you checked out the chair exercise videos on this site? Keep forecasting!

Welome!! Ramble anytime you want. Not good to hold it in either. I think I have more artificial parts than my own parts myself!!! These "golden years" are not golden unless it's what we pay for our parts with!! LOL
One Day At A Time Dear Jesus!!!
Not looking at how many # to go but back and how many #s I've already lost!!!
Really new to this but here it goes. I have severe osteoarthritis all over. I am totally fused from mid-neck to L5/S1 (tailbone) and then had MRSA-all in Nov/Dec 2006. June 2012 had left knee replaced then in Sept. fell and broke my femur. I am just getting back to where i was in Sept. after surgery. Will be having another disc in my neck done as soon as I am better and then will have my right knee done. Am sure glad I had all of the work done-with the exception of the MRSA and getting the plate in my leg. I tell every one I am a better weather forecaster than the professionals! Does anyone else feel that way? Everyone seems to think that if I would just give in and get an electric wheelchair I would be better off. They don't seem to understand that that would encourage me to quit trying to walk. Oh I forgot-I also have neuropathy in my feet making in hard to walk. I just figured out it is heck getting to be 61. I am glad that my mini-doxie walks slower than I do. Thanks for letting me ramble. Lola
