Hi, I tried the TART CHERRY JUICE, for 2 months and I didn't see any significant difference, I guess it works on some, but it is always worth the try. I am trying Ginger and Devil's Claw. I need to get back walking in the pool. I have the membership, but just need to get my butt in gear.

Any exercise you do is best cleared by a qualified professional. Talk with your GP or your Surgeon. If need be, ask for a referral to a Physiotherapist so that you can be shown what is best for you and supervised while you do it to ensure that you are doing it properly, and NOT causing harm. Check with your Dr before taking any OTC supplements, too, because they may NOT be advisable given that you may be on some medications. SOME can cause thinning of the blood - SOME can interact with your medication. SOME can be ill-advised given certain other conditions you may have!
I had my total knee replacements 3 days apart and can relate with what you have been going through. The exercises that you first did when you had the knee replacements, be sure to keep up with them. They are an important part of your healing process. The exercises you can do from a chair as well as laying on your bed. Also, my husband and I have found that "TART CHERRY JUICE" has been very beneficial in helping with inflammation/arthritis. you mmight want to give that a try. Exercising in a pool or hot tub can also be very helpful. Continue to elevate your leg above your heart to help reduce the swelling as well as putting some ice on it while elevating it. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone I don't know where to begin except I need help. A year ago I had a total knee replacement with complications of not healing properly. Thru various Drs. they concluded it was a pinched nerve in my back. So 16 days ago I had back surgery. So far the leg is still shaking.( I know give it time). Meanwhile I gained 20# from the knee surgery and another 20# overnight in the hospital. How can that happen?
I need to get my eating habit under control. At least that will help till I can excercise more than walking 15 min at a time. Help and give me some suggestions. I am replying to indygirl blog as she has overcome a lot.
