Welcome AngelBabies - - If the apartments you're in has a hot tub, try using that. My husband and I both have arthritis quite badly and we both find that our arthritis always feel better when we have been in it for a few minutes. I have it throughout my body and as well as having degenerative in my C-spine with spurs. Give the hot tub a try and if not try a hot bath. The cold really bothers us a lot so we moved from ND to the lower Rio Grande Valley at the tip of TX. Down there it can get quite "warm". We are only 7 miles from MX. We are up here in MI to visit my dad for a few days and then on to ND to visit my husband's brother - - both places are quite cool for what we are accustomed to and really effects us both. Give the hot tub/hot bath etc.

Judy

When I was layed up with my Knee replacements (have had both total knee replacements, 6 months apart) I use to lay flat on the bed and do the bycycle with the one leg I could use at the time. Sit on the side of the bed or a chair for better back support with a band tied together and put just above my knees and opened and closed my knees as far as I could and try and do stretches and any other exercise I could do so my back (have 2 deteriating discs in back) wouldn;t give me excessive pain. I also drank 8 to 12 glasses of water per day and watched what I ate. I hope this helps you get through your journey to wellness. emoticon emoticon emoticon
